Emergency services have been at the crash scene regarding a vehicle and a bicycle owner close to Edinburgh’s town center. Police and ambulance crews rushed to the Picardy Roundabout, between London Road and Elm Row, after receiving reports of the incident at 4.30pm. The cyclist suffered what are believed to be minor accidents. The road becomes partially blocked as a result ofof queues building in both directions at some point during the night rush hour. Emergency services left the scene at around 5.10pm. However, queues are understood to nonetheless be heavy. The new director, Jixun Foo, handles associates at GGV Capital, a chief worldwide project capital firm he joined in 2006. Foo has been a Baidu investor sincsince 2004, a year before the corporation went public. He’s a China tech veteran, serving as director at numerous different companies, including new power car professional Xpeng Motors and Tujia, China’s homegrown equivalent of Airbnb. His portfolio at GGV Capital has covered vehicle services professionals Grab and Didi Chuxing and online video professional Youku-Tudou. Lu Qi, an AI professional and former Microsoft government, joined Baidu as leader running officer in January 2017. Since stepping down from the location last May for “personal and own family reasons,” he enrolled in U.S. Accelerator Y Combinator, which remained in August.
